AMC National Framework for Prevocational Medical Training
The Australian Medical Council (AMC) has finalised the National Framework for Prevocational (PGY1 and PGY2) Medical Training ("the AMC Framework"), which is set to be implemented over 2024 and 2025.
This new national framework follows a comprehensive review of all the elements of the current National Framework for Prevocational (PGY1 and PGY2) Medical Training, conducted by AMC in 2019 – 2021.
PMCT is working with and supporting the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) and our other health network stakeholders and staff throughout the transition to the Framework.
