Information and resources are available to support the implementation of the AMC Framework which is being launched in 2024 for PGY1 junior doctors, and in 2025 for PGY2+ junior doctors. The AMC website contains a wealth of information and resources about the new framework.
Overview of the AMC National Framework components
- Training and assessment: Training and assessment requirements for training programs
- Training environment: National standards and requirements for prevocational training programs and terms
- Quality assurance: AMC domains and procedures for assessing and accrediting prevocational training authorities
- e-Portfolio: It is intended that the National Framework will be supported by an e-Portfolio in 2025
