Junior Doctor Resources
The Australian Medical Council (AMC) has developed a number of resources to support junior doctors with understanding the new AMC Framework. The framework will be implemented in 2024 for PGY1 doctors, and in 2025 for PGY2+ doctors.
2024 Accredited Terms
Each term is classified as providing one or two types of clinical experience. These include:
- undifferentiated illness (A),
- chronic Illness (B),
- acute and critical illness (C) and
- peri-operative/procedural (D).
